Philosophy Halloween Collection Review

Every year, I'm dying to see what Philosophy will come out with for the holidays. During the Halloween season is when they really bring the goods. I posted a while back the product list that's out now in stores, now I'm bringing the review. So I tried the i love candy corn shower gel/bubble bath/shampoo and the pumpkin spice and caramel apple lip gloss.

The Trick or Treat Lip Set ($16) These glosses give you just enough color and a LOT of shine. Pumpkin Spice & Caramel Apple packed up in a super cute box make for a fabulous gift this fall. Anyone who receives this gift, would be super excited. Who doesn't love a good lip gloss?

I know it's lip gloss, but I still like to show a nice swatch. Just to show what kind of color the lip gloss puts out. Both have a night light color with a lot of flavor. Wearing these lip balms really puts me in the Halloween mood. Plus it makes me hungry! I think I like caramel apple a little more.. (on the right) for the taste. I'm a caramel apple freak! Reminds me of the state fair or a carnival. What the swatch really doesn't show is the amount of shine. Once it's applied to the lips, that's when the true shine comes out. Either way, these won't be around forever, so if you're unsure, buy it! ♥

The i love Candy Corn ($16) works as a shampoo, shower gel or bubble bath, like a lot of Philosophy's collections. If there is 1 bad thing to say about this, it's that I'm sad they didn't make this in a body lotion too. This smells exactly like the delicious candy corn you eat up at this time of year. I found I liked using this as a shower gel because of the amount of lather it creates. Makes for a great soap in the shower with a wash cloth or loofa, I was actually surprised by how much lather a little drip makes. A little goes a long way with this bottle, and I've been using it every day, although I'm trying to make it last! This is another product that won't be around all year long, so if you're a candy corn lover, this is perfect for you.

I could go on and on about Philosophy's new scents and product list, but if you read my website or for that matter any website, you already know Philosophy really knows how to bring it when it comes to scents, especially the holiday season.
