Camera Ready Cosmetics Gel EyeLiners

I've never actually used gel eyeliners. Crazy right? They always seemed messy and hard to use. I've always just used a pencil, or the liquid pencil. I keep hearing more and more about the gel, so I figured they were worth a go. Camera Ready Cosmetics sent me a couple liners, one which is a greyish black, (Marcasite)(the right) and a beautiful teal color on the left. (Peacock) You can use these gel liners for a beautiful shadow, or as a liner. For $8.99 these little pots will last you a long time.

I really like the Peacock color because it's so pretty on the skin. It's the kind of color that will really make your eyes pop. What I've discovered about gel liner is they don't get you the harsh line that regular liners deliver. They are great for blending in with whatever shadow you're wearing, and the BEST part about the is it doesn't rub off on the top of your eyelid. I stopped using pencil liners a long time ago because towards the end of the day, all the liner would be all over my eye, making it look like I had black shadow on. These gel liners will stay on all day and not smear.

So who will like these?

  • Anyone who is looking for a more blended look
  • People who have trouble with smudging
  • Anyone who is looking for an eyeliner that will stay on all day
  • People who have no experience with tiny liners, or if your hands shake easily while applying eye makeup

The Camera Ready Cosmetic Gel Liners may not be for you if you like a big thick liner, or if you're already addicted to liquid. I have been wearing liquid liner for over 10 years, and I'm very happy I found the gel.

You can buy the Gel Liners are Camera Ready Cosmetics in tons of different colors. I'm already looking to buy more so I can experiment with different colors!

I received product for the purpose of this review only. All opinions are my own.
