Tony Moly Shimmer Cube

What is it?

A Cube of Powder in "Shimmer Lover Cube" color mean to be used as a highlighter, or blush. Tony Moly is a Japanese cosmetic company that I found while browsing the internet. I've take up an interest in these foreign makeup companies, because some of their products, although the packaging is not always up to par, the product is grade A. This shimmer cube was no exception.

Packed with a cute little plastic compact and brush, (the brush is not as wonderful as the actual color) this is a fabulous little palette that I'm using everyday now. I was going to do a swatch, but I couldn't get the color to show up with my horrible camera. I used this as an all over brush/bronzer, and I found it quite similar to the bronzer in my Too Faced Holiday Kit.

With just a tad of pigment, this works great as a highlighter too, when applied to the cheeks it brings out a nice pink sparkle that can even be compared to the Bobbi Brown shimmer cubes, without the hefty pricetag. So if you've been thinking about buying the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick which sells for $38 this is a great copy with a much smaller price of $15.

I'm not quite sure where the best place to buy this palette is, the Tony Moly site is all in Japanese, I purchased mine on Ebay.
