Benefit Finding Mr Bright Review

Have you found Mr Bright yet? I'm so happy I finally did, in fact I found it at my local Ulta for $36 bucks! I was a little bummed out by the size of the actual products, which are much smaller the the full sized product, but I was still happy to try the kit, since I don't own any of these top sellers. I figured it was time to try them all out and figure out which ones I had to own!

Check it!

What is it? A set of brightening products from Benefit Cosmetics. The set contains a step by step breakdown of what each item is, and what it's used for. In the box you get a smaller version of Benefit's most popular buys, including Girl Meets Pearl, Posie Tint, High Beam and Erase Paste.

I'm already a huge fan of Benefit's High Beam as a highlighter for my cheeks and nose. The other 3 were mysteries to me, and I was super excited to finally see what the buzz was about.

So let's talk about the Erase Paste. I've heard bad and good things about this one. It's a creamy blendable concealer. It is probably one of the thickest concealers I've came across, and a little goes a long way. Too much could create a big of a mess and and I made the mistake of trying to blend a huge amount of this around my eyes, which created a goopy cakey look around my eye. But after a couple times of perfecting my routine, this stuff is freakin fabulous! I've already purchase the full size for $26.

The Girl Meets Pearl was the one product I'm iffy about. It's meant for a gorgeous golden pink liquid pearl look that glides on for a breathtaking luminous complexion. Customize your pearlessence with the easy-to-use twist up package - a few clicks for a subtle sheen, more clicks for a "whoa"! glow. Pat the luminous liquid on over makeup or wear alone for dewy lit-from-within radiance.

•raspberry & chamomile for soothing
•light reflecting pigments for exquisite radiance
•sweet almond seed for firming & soothing
•sesame seed oil for moisturizing fresh red raspberry scent

LOVE the smell, not crazy about the color. But hey, do we really need a review on this? These products have been around for a while, most people know if they love it or hate it already. For me it's just ok.

Favorite product from the set? The Posie Tint was a pleasant surprise for me. It's a beautiful cheek stain that blends extremely easy, and can be worn light or for those of you with a heavier hand, can be worn for a much more dramatic night time look. It can also be worn on the lips, however I prefer it blended onto my cheeks for a beautiful bright pop! I haven't purchase it yet, but I can't wait to buy the full size which sells for $28 bucks!

And of course the High Beam goes without saying, I'm not even going to talk about it, because you've seen it on my face tons of times on this blog. High Beam is a must have, and is a requirement in my daily makeup regimen. It is one of the best highlighters, and can be worn heavy or light depending on your skin tone and the type of look you're trying to achieve.

I love Mr Bright, in fact I need two of him. For $36 this is a fabulous deal, you need this! It's a great starter kit for someone that hasn't had much experience with Benefit Cosmetics or highlighters. I would say if you're going to purchase one product, make it the High Beam or the Erase Paste. Most Benefit lovers probably already have the full sizes of each of these, but it's still a fun gorgeous kit, it would also make a great gift!

Have you tried Mr Bright? Thoughts?
