Motives Cosmetics Review + Pic

I have to be honest, although I had heard of Motives Cosmetics By Loren Ridinger I didn't quite know what they were all about or how great the quality of the products was. Well, let's just say I'm extremely surprised and happy at what I tried out.

Their product selection is huge, they have hundreds of products from skin care, to makeup, to nail polish and so much more. This review is just a small look into Motives Cosmetics, but hopefully you will be reading much more about their company from now on.

The Motives Liquid Eyeliner ($14) creates a dramatic sexy look within minutes. If you have not tried liquid liner before, this would be a good place to start because it's extremely easy to apply. The result is a beautiful jet black color perfect for all occasions. I wear black liquid liner religiously, and I think I might die without it. There are a lot of good ones out there, in fact I haven't really came across that many bad ones.

Because I have blue eyes, I like to think black liners bring out my eyes a bit more and can create a sexy simple look without a ton of eyeshadow or other eye products. I would recommend Motives Eyeliner because of the pen applicator and how easy it is to use.

One of my favorite parts of Motives Cosmetics is this beautiful Shape & Sculpt Duo ($21) The colors are extremely different, it's a bit surprising these would be blended together. I found this best used as a bronzer and highlighter.

Primary Benefits of Motives® Shape & Sculpt Duo:

•Two-in-one highlighter and matte contour powder
•Luxurious formula that glides on smoothly to highlight and sculpt
•Designed for all skin types
•Non-irritant formula
•Paraben, oil and fragrance free

I can't really pull off the colors together with one swoop of a brush, but I use the left side for a finishing powder, and the right side as a bronzer. I'm trying to keep the two separate, because I have light skin and the two together give me an odd look. But worn by themselves, they are gorgeous.

My favorite product from Motives is the Lustrafly Mascara ($16.95) The brush is thick and picks up a lot of product. It can get a bit messy if you're not careful. You don't need an eyelash curler with this one! It curls rather nicely while volumizing and lengthening your lashes. It's very hard for me to find good mascaras, and I tend to stick to my beloved Maybelline, however this one is definitely something to try. It could do wonders for even the smallest of lashes.

Motives by Loren Ridinger is a company that I think deserves for credit for their outstanding products. I'm really happy with what I tried out, and I think the mascara is nothing else deserves another mention. I'm anxious to try their lip products too see if they work as well as the ones mentioned in this review.

You can purchase Motives Cosmetics at Check out their other products as well, there are hundreds to choose from! You can also find Motives on Facebook.

  1. I’ve been using the Lustrfy mascara for a while and love the volume it gives. Just started with the highlight/contour it’s hard to describe the color. All I know is it works well with any blush or powder without competing with the color. Great for quick everyday shaping.

  2. My favorite Motives product is definitely the Custom Blend foundation. So many options... I get to choose the options I want in my foundations, in addition to getting my perfect color!
Oh, I have to say I also LOVE the Luxe Creme Eye Shadows!

  3. I didn't receive my items because they delivered them to my neighbour which I didn't give permission for and is now denying being sent anything I wouldn't purchase anything from motives cosmetics as they are unfair.
