Bath and Body Works "Carried Away" Collection

I swear everytime I put on Bath and Body Works new "Carried Away" collection, I always start singing the famous George Strait song. I can't believe BBW named one of my new favorite scents after one of my favorite songs! It's nice yet I can't get the damn song out of my head.

Bath and Body Works describes the scent as ...a whimsical blend of lush raspberries, white jasmine and whipped vanilla inspired by the way love sweeps you off your feet. "

•Fragrance Top Notes: Italian Bergamot, Meyer Lemon, Mandarin, Juicy Pear Nectar, Lush Raspberries
•Fragrance Mid Notes: Purple Freesia, White Tuberose, White Jasmine, Soft Violet Petals
•Fragrance Base Notes: Creamy Sandalwood, Whipped Vanilla, Musk

The middle notes of the fragrance is what lingers after 10-15 minutes, and that's the floral tuberose. I also smell the freesia quite heavily, with a hint of raspberries. It's really a refreshing scent that I think everyone would like. The best way to describe the fragrance is a sweet creamy floral citrus. It smells very much like a BBW scent from the past, maybe a combination of a few.

It reminds me more of a better version of Sweet Pea. I was walking past BBW a couple weeks ago, and I just had to smell the new Carried Away Line. OMG I thought this was so nice. Fruity and flowery, not too strong, just a nice soft scent. I swear, this is the best fragrance line Bath and Body Works has put out since I can remember.

The packaging is also cute for BBW. The front label shows some pretty flowers being carried through the wind. I love the ocean blue color of the perfume bottle along with the pastel pink. This collection screams Spring. I don't feel like I have to tell you about the shower gel or the body lotion, because I think everyone knows how great Bath and Body Works products are. Plus they have been around since I can remember. I have distant memories of being in school and using my allowance to walk to the closest mall and buy Bath and Body Works newest scents, usually crisp apple or cucumber melon. Ahh how the times and scents have changed. But the consistency is still the same, and the great prices are still in tact.

The one thing I don't think I've seen Bath and Body works do too much in the past is the actual perfume. Not the body spritz, the perfume bottle of Carried Away, which is much different then what I've seen BBW do in the past.

I wanted to focus a bit more on the Carried Away perfume because it is the real must have out the "Carried Away" set. The smell is of course just like what I mentioned above, but it's stronger then the actual body mist, but still light enough that it doesn't feel "heavy" or too strong like your typical perfume. The bottle is so cute and "Springy" it's sitting on my bathroom counter I love the blue/pink stripe color combo and I hope Bath and Body Works will come out with more perfume in the future because this one is just that good. And $29 bucks for a good perfume? Well that's what I call a bargain.

There are so many parts of the Carried Away Set, I can't really mention them all, although the body butter and shower gel are also good choices if you're debating on what part of the collection to purchase. Right now if you buy 3 products from the set, you get one free, which is an awesome deal. My top choices would of course be the perfume, the body butter, shower gel and the "Select-A-Shimmer" which has peaked my interest as something new at BBW.

You can purchase the Carried Away Fragrance at Bath and Body Works right now. If you don't think BBW is for you, next time you walk past the store in the mall, take a quick sniff and I'm sure you will fall in love just like I did
