Being True Transforming Skin Tint

What is a skin tint? I would think it would be some sort of "tinted moisturizer" but looking at this bottle, it appeared to be more of a foundation. So at first I was a bit puzzled. Do I put this on BEFORE my foundation? Or IS it a foundation.

Being True's Skin Tint (30 ml) is first-of-its-kind hydrating elixir foundation packed with minerals, essential vitamins and botanical extracts. Stressed skin will be instantly transformed back to a more youthful, even-toned complexion. Leaves skin aglow with a sheer to undetectable finish. Wear alone or as a primer under mineral foundation for added benefits. Ideal for normal to dry skin types. My skin has been a bit oily lately, in fact I've been breaking out so the skin tint might not for my skin. So did it work?

I tried "Medium" which was a good match for my skin tone. This comes in 6 different shades ( Fair, Fair-Medium, Medium, Medium-Tan, Tan and Deep) I probably could have went with Fair-Medium too. It's so hard to say because sometimes I'm tan, sometimes I'm pale as a ghost, depending on if I self tanned that week or not.

As you can see it's packed full of moisture and gives off a nice healthy glow. It gives you a sheer luminous full coverage look, and the wear is a good amount of time. It covers up minor inperfections and freckles, and even my 2-3 pimples I have right now. It doesn't look chalky or cakey. I liked the fact that you can layer this with powder, primer or moisturizer and it won't look overdone. That's when you know you've got a good foundation on your hands.

I recommend if you're going to try the Skin Tint that you use powder afterwards because it can give you a bit of shine, but other then that this is a wonderful product. You can use it under your foundation for a bit of moisture, or as a foundation , depending on the type of coverage you require. I tried this as a foundation, and it did make my skin a bit oily, but when my face gets dry towards winter, this would be the best product to use as a foundation. As long as you powder up afterwards, you're good to go. I recommend using MAC's Mineralize Skin Finish and to touch up, MAC's Blot Powder. I think I'll save the Skin Tint for when my face is the dryest, probably around October.

You can purchase the Being True Transforming Skin Tint for $46 on Being True's website. Yes the price hurts a bit, but if you have dry skin along with a bit of acne or freckles you're looking to cover up this is definitely the product to check out. If you're more on the oily side, or you don't like wearing powder after you apply your foundation, maybe you should pass.
