Caudalie Merlot Friction Scrub

I am a huge fan of Caudalie. Their products contain Grape seeds along with other ingredients that are healthy and refreshing for your skin. I can honestly say I have not run into a product from them yet that I haven't loved. The Caudalie Merlot Friction Scrub is no exception. Many body exfoliators will only focus on the "exfoliation", however this Scrub has many other benefits.

This "mint butter" scrub shapes and tones. It is extremely natural, combining organic essential oils of lemon, peppermint and sweet mint (the strongest of the ingredients when it comes to smell). With its soft and slippery touch and fine grains of sugar, it will become the favorite of skins that enjoy the benefits of essential oils without a slippery finish This is a body exfoliator at it's best. Not only does it exfoliate your entire body, but it contains firming action which will firm up those spots that start to fall as your body gets older.

The packaging isn't too shabby either. I love the little container with the pop open lid. I'll probably keep the container around long after the product is gone, just because it's so darn cute. The texture of the scrub is grainy and the scent is a rather strong mint. Neither are irritating or overly powerful, instead it's more pleasant and refreshing. If you are looking to exfoliate and firm your skin while in the shower or bath, this is a good choice. It's hard to find a good body exfoliator that actually does what it says without irritating or reddening your skin. I have extremely sensitive skin, so finding the right exfoliator proves an uneasy task.

The formula like I said is thick, but I think people who usually don't like such a texture in their shower products, will really like this. I found that it sloshed off all my dead skin cells, and as far as firming, well I think it's too soon to tell.

You can purchase Caudalie Merlot Friction Scrub for $29 at Sephora and
