Currently Loving: Wet N' Wild Silent Treatment Color Icon Trio

These have been raved about all over the beauty blog world, and for $2.99 I just had to pick one up . The silent treatment trio was my best best because of the pretty pink and the brown, which are colors I tend to use a lot in my day to day makeup regimen. The brown has a bit of a gold undertone and the pink is a shimmer cool tone. The white is your typical matte used for under the brow and the tear duct area.

I like the idea of the writing on the eyeshadow telling you where to place the product. It's a good idea for people who haven't had much experience applying eyeshadow and want to learn the basics.

There isn't much fallout and the eyeshadow can be applied wet or dry, I prefer dry. The colors work even better with a base primer, and lasted me 6-7 hours without any fading. I went back to CVS to get a couple more palettes in different color combinations but I couldn't seem to find any. I've heard these are extremely popular and for the price, well they should be!

Overall, this might be one of the best eyeshadow palettes I've found in a drugstore. I don't have much experience with Wet N' Wild, but now I'm a huge fan. These colors really do compare to the higher end department store brands. The only thing lacking is the packaging, but drug store makeup unfortunatly rarely worries about how pretty or ugly the housing of their products are. Let's face it, a lot of times when you're paying a large amount for something at Sephora or Dillard's you're paying for that fancy packaging.

You can purchase this palette at CVS, Target and Walgreens for the fabulous price of $2.99 If I had known what I know now about the quality of the eyeshadows I probably would have bought more then one of these. So if you're browsing around Walgreens and you see Wet N'Wild pick one up!
