NOTD: Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Nail Polish

I realized the other day I was sick of doing white tip french manicure nails and I wanted something different. I also realized I was done using the polishes at the nail salons on my own nails because when you think about it, it's rather nasty. Using the same nail polish many other people have used is kinda icky.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics sent me their nail polish in TRICK and it's quite similar to the other polish from their company I tried HUSH. They are both quite neutral and perfect for my nails. I prefer not to use these colors on my toes because neutral colors never look quite right with my pale feet. Yesterday I was pretty bored since it was Sunday and I took a trip to Sally's Beauty Supply where I bought some designs for my nails along with this instrument (seen below) which is used to take the sticker and apply directly to your nail.

You can purchase this at Sally Beauty Supply for about $5 bucks. It's called the Pickerr Uperr and is great for applying rhinestones too. Before I was using this, I was using tweezers to take the small design and apply it to my nails which always became a total pain. And forget trying to use your hands. It will never work.

I'm kicking myself for not buying anymore of these little stickers, because the selection at Walgreens is awful. If you're going to design your own nails I strongly suggest Sally's because they have the best prices and best selection of products. Just make sure you apply a clear top coat after applying, or else the sticker won't stick.

The color is a peachy nude which applys extremely easy and can be worn with one coat or 2 depending on what kind of coverage you like. OCC cosmetics is easily my favorite nail polish company, because the colors and texture of their polishes (and lip glosses) are unlike any other. You can purchase this color, TRICK and many more at OCCCosmetics.com
