Bare Minerals Naturally Luminous Advanced Treatment Collection Review

Bare Minerals has released a new boxed set of their skin care line, which I was super excited to try out. I've tried out Bare Minerals makeup, never their skincare. All of the formulas are powered by 100% pureRareMinerals Active Soil Complex for extraordinary skin-renewing benefits, including cell renewal and antioxidant protection. From Bare Escentuals.

The Advanced Treatment Collection includes:

2 fl oz Purifying Facial Cleanser
0.5 fl oz Wrinkle Concentrate
1 fl oz Extra-Firming Neck Cream

This 30-day cleanser, moisturizer and eye treatment trio is the perfect introduction to bareMinerals Skincare. Our Purifying Facial Cleanser removes makeup and impurities while also hydrating and renewing skin. Our Purely Nourishing Moisturizer keeps your skin moisturized and protected so you can have younger-looking skin day after day. Our Skincare Firming Eye Treatment, completes your routine, restoring firmness and reducing puffiness around the eye area. All 3 formulas are powered by our 100% pure RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex clinically proven to deliver incredible skin-renewing benefits, including faster cell turnover, smaller-looking pores, increased luminosity and antioxidant protection.

I don't really feel like I need the neck cream quite yet, but it's always good to start early. One of my biggest skin fears is the horrible turkey neck you see on some older women. On second thought, maybe I do need to start using neck cream!

The Face Cleanser is my favorite part of the trio. I was so surprised at how much I like this stuff. "This gentle cleanser transforms into a light, creamy texture to remove makeup, dissolve impurities, and rebalance skin for a soft, smooth complexion. The 100 percent pure RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex powers this product, leaving skin feeling perfectly clean, hydrated, and with a naturally luminous glow. Plus, it's gentle enough for eye makeup removal " I found this extremely close to my Cetaphil Face Wash because of how it lathers on your face. It's gentle and can be used on sensitive skin. It foams up and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and tighter. It is the one product I will buy after this set is gone.

The Purely Nourishing Moisturizer (for combination skin) is formulated to perfectly moisturize combination skin. It effectively hydrates while improving firmness, elasticity, radiance and overall skin texture. I love the list of antioxidants in this one: Red Tea, Green Tea, Coffee, Licorice, and Vitamins A, B5, C and E I was only mildly impressed with the moisturizer. Although it works well with the trio I wouldn't use it on it's own. I feel it did hydrate and improve the texture of my skin, but it wasn't results I would rave about.

The final part of the Luminous Advanced Treatment Firm, tighten and improve skin texture and smoothness with this naturally luminous, extra-firming neck cream that targets the special needs of the delicate skin around the neck and decollete. Powered by our proprietary, 100% pure RareMinerals ActiveSoil Complex, this clinically proven, all-in-one cream locks in moisture to restore a youthful, lifted look and helps defend against daily environmental stressors. I did enjoy the firming cream, I'm not sure if I see it working, but I'm hoping and feeling like it does. Basically it comes down to this. I have no real problem with my neck, so I wouldn't be able to tell if this worked or didn't work. But it's always nice to start using firming cream before you get loose skin. So I really like that they put a neck cream in this package instead of your typical eye cream. I think a lot of times people focus on the eye area, when the neck can also be a big issue.

Overall the Bare Minerals Naturally Luminous Advanced Treatment is an adorable set, great for gift giving and great for hydration, cleansing and firming. I love the box it comes in and the cleanser in it's self is a fabulous product. And for the price, well, it's worth a try! I'm so happy I got to try this out.

The set is available at QVC for $36. Click here for more info
