Givenchy Very Irresistible L' Intense Perfume Review

Givenchy comes out with an even version of their Irresistible perfume, the Very Irresistible Intense Fragrance. At first glance, I LOVE This bottle. I love the purple with the clear and the beautiful rose on the size. Classic

Very Irresistible Intense offers a stronger, heavier, more mature and deep version of the original scent.

Notes are: purple plum, Turkish rose, patchouli and white musk.

I smell a ton of white musk, which isn't really my favorite note, but this perfume smells great. It is a stronger smell, but surprisingly it doesn't bother me, and just a small dab goes a long way. I actually really loved this version of the perfume, because of its heaviness. I love that you can smell tons of musk and patchouli in the mix, but they’re almost sweet notes and not light and airy or earthy as patchouli can sometimes be. Though rose notes are in the juice, this doesn’t smell like a rose garden or anything like it. It’s actually most definitely a night-time scent and a lovely feminine one at that.

And who doesn't like the fact that Liv Tyler is the face of this scent? She totally rocks the ad! I think she's perfect because the perfume is edgy, glamorous, feminine and chick. Givenchy for me always does it right with perfumes. The last scent I loved this much from them was "Play". I think Very L'Intense has a smoky plum fragrance that brings out the rocker cutting edge smell.

If you're going out on a Friday or Saturday night, maybe to a show or club, this is the fragrance you're gonna wanna rock. The quality of this perfume is much better then your "cheaper" perfumes on the market today. This is right up there with my other favorite, Dior's Miss Cherie. You can purchase this in a 1 oz bottle for $56 or a 1.7 oz for $80. It's available at perfume counters and Sephora.
