Philosophy Sugar Chick Shower Gel Review

I can't believe April is here already. April means Easter , which means delicious candy. Well that's at least what it means to me. My favorite candies are the Cadbury eggs, of course and the Sugar Peeps, which no one really else seems to appreciate. They are basically straight sugar, yum yum. My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy for loving the little chicks, but I can't get enough. Easter really does bring out my sweet tooth. So I was overjoyed to learn Philosophy was bringing out the Sugar Chick Shower Gel. I knew I had to get my hands on it. I was walking by Sephora a couple weeks ago, and took a sniff and it was love at first scent.

So this is like your other Philosophy Shower Gels/Bubble Bath/Shampoo. I like to use them all for shower gel, because they seem to last longer, and they make bathing so much more enjoyable. The only thing about Philosophy's gel is that you will smell great in the shower/bath but don't expect the fragrance to last all day. It wears off pretty quickly, but while your in the shower you get a burst of delicious scent and it's great at cleansing lathering.

The Sugar Chick scent also has a beautiful gold sparkle color which I don't see much in Philosophy's other lines. That was the first thing I fell in love with. The other part is I LOVE the way this stuff smells. If I didn't know what this one, or didn't see the label, I think it smells like a lemon meringue pie topped with tons of sugar frosting. But it does also give off a scent of little Easter peeps. It's so good I want to eat it. The sugar fragrance level is HIGH so most people probably already know if they will love it or hate it. I'm gonna say it flat out, you NEED this one! I'm crossing my fingers that it comes back next Easter. Heck, I'll take it year round!

I'm rating this stuff damn near perfect, and I will cherish this alongside my favorite shower gel, Lush's Snow Fairy. Why do all my favorites only come in limited edition Holiday flavors? It means I have to stock up big time, and I'll be running to Sephora to get a couple more of these.

You can purchase Sugar Chick for $16 at Philosophy.com and Sephora. If you're hesistant about if you will like this or not, trust me you will.
