Anastasia Beverly Hills Highlighting Creme Duo Review

Do you wonder why I post SO many Anastasia Beverly Hills Reviews? Simply put I love their products! When it comes to eyebrows, eyelashes and face they have the best stuff, at least for my skin type and how I like my eyebrows done.

My new must have from the Anastasia collection is the Highlighting Creme Duo. ($34.95) I have yet to see any product like this, and I love the idea! It's a Highlighting Crème duo like no other. Light diffusing pigments reveal a beautiful subtle glow. Featuring our exclusive antioxidant rich Balkan Botanical® Infusion, which is known to help soothe and soften the appearance of the skin. The liquid shimmer hydrates without ever looking greasy or chalky and the crème blush has a sheer, warm glow that blends easily for a flawless finish that compliments any skin tone. Comes in two colors, Aspen and St Tropez

Aspen: A light peach blush on top with a silver sparkle highlighter below

St Tropez: A more bright pink blush with a golden highlighter on the bottom

I love the concept! A beautiful blush on top with a mirro and below you get a little spoon with a jar full of gorgeous liquid highlighter. Perfect for taking out with you in your purse, I use this for touch-ups when I'm out at night. This will also last much longer then your average powder blush. I got about 6-7 hours of wear out of this, which is amazing for a blush and even better for a highlighter.

As you can see, you DON'T have to use your fingers.. (major plus) because of the little spoons that come beneath the blush. Whoever thought of the design deserves an extra kudos, because this is the perfect duo. Nothing goes together better then a blush and highlighter.

The only part I'm unsure about is the creme blush and having to use my fingers. I hate having to use them for any beauty product, especially creams, but I'm willing to look past that for what I'm getting. I also found that "Aspen" (the lighter blush with a silver highlighter) looked much better on my skin tone. I recommend this one for lighter skin tones, and St Tropez for more tanned, olive skin tones.

For $34.95 you're getting a good sized blush and highlighter. 1 oz of highlighter and .07 blush. The blush especially will last you a good amount of time. What do you think? You like the idea? The packaging is so cute, and the colors go great together.. I can't wait to see what Anastasia comes up with next! You can purchase the Highlighting Creme Duo at Anastasia.net and of course Sephora.
