Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment Review

Kate Somerville is the creator and director of Kate Somerville Skin Health Experts, which is a renowned medi-skin clinic in Los Angeles. The Kate Somerville skincare line is a complete collection of products aimed to focus on restoring the health of all skin types and various skin conditions.

ExfoliKate " Intensive Exfoliating Treatment " is one of Kate's most admired and best selling products to date. Using a dual action exfoliation method, ExfoliKate treatment works both physically and enzymatically to deliver safe, dramatic results instantly

The shocking surprise? It's green! For some reason the green thick goo makes me think it's healthier and better for my face. To use, you apply a thin layer to a dampened face and then you rub in circular motions for 30 seconds. I love the smell of this exfoliator. It seems more like a mask, but the beads tell you it's an exfoliator working to slosh off dead cells on your face. I chose to leave it on for 2 minutes so I could get the best results.

I secretly kind of wanted to hate this, because I've been loving so many things lately, I figured it was time to change it up. Bad reason right? I should be happy! I'm on a complete winning streak with beauty products. Let's face it, I've heard AMAZING things about Kate Somerville, and that's one of the reasons I knew I had to try out her products. I have a friend who swears by her whole product line. And I probably picked the best product to try first, just keep reading.

Honestly this might be the best exfoliator on the market today. If you're looking for a quick fix, something that will instantly transform your face, ExfoliKate might be your answer. (Cute name right?) And crazy clever!

So after using this just once my face is softer, cleaner and I will compare this product to my Personal Microderm machine which is the only other thing I can say works right away and is as effective. It's been a while since I found myself excited about a beauty product, especially an exfoliator. This can be used on sensitive skin as well, and although you might feel a bit of a tingling at first, there will be a huge pay off in the end. Of course a little reddening could occur to, but that is also normal when you're using a face exfoliator.

The one down side to this is the price. $85 for a 2 oz ouch. But I guess you're gonna have to weigh out the pros and cons. For something that really works, it might be a good purchase. OR you could spend your money searching for products a bit cheaper but won't do the job. It's very much like having a personal spa in your own home. So would I buy it? The answer is a painful yes. Of course it hurts to spend that kind of money on any beauty product, but I think it is well worth it. You can purchase the Kate Somerville ExfoliKate at Sephora and Kate Somerville's website.

(LOVE it!)
