Anastasia Beverly Hills HydraFull Gloss Review

I love lip gloss and I love Anastasia Beverly Hills. The two together? Couldn't wait to try it! I've never used Anastasia Lip products so I was curious to see if they were just as great as the eyebrow tools I use daily. The HydraFull Gloss promises to hydrate and condition lips while creating a gorgeous shine.

Clinically tested gloss proven to help maximize and maintain lip hydration and fullness. Paddle applicator smooths product across lips. Drench your lips with multi-dimensional pigments that release high shine and color that stays put without the sticky residue. Rich and fortifying formula nourishes your lips with the added benefits of Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter and our exclusive Balkan Botanical® Infusion.

CLINICAL RESULTS
10 MINUTES
- 90% reported lips are hydrated.

1 WEEK - 87% reported the lip gloss provides long lasting moisture.

4 WEEKS - 83% saw improvement in the texture of lips and again 90% reported lips are hydrated

The one thing I noticed that is different about the gloss is the plastic applicator. I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. I think I'm somewhere in between. I have over 100 lip glosses and none have a plastic spatula like applicator. At first I didn't like this because it's not soft on your lips like your typical doe foot. But after a while, (2 weeks of usage) I realized the plastic works much better for coverage. The doe foot tends to soak up a lot of the gloss while this paddle gets the gloss right where you want it. So now I've come to love this little spatula and I hope other glosses will follow Anastasia's footsteps.

I tried two shades:

Cameo: A clear sparkle gloss perfect for sheer coverage

Flamingo: A sheer neutral pink with micro glitter perfect for all skin tones

(Cameo, Flamingo)

I found that Flamingo was my favorite of the two. I love the light pink it left on my lips and it is not sticky or tacky. I was extra surprised by the amount of hydration this gloss gave me. The wear time is not anything spectacular, about 1-2 1/2 hours max, but afterwards, when the gloss had worn off, my lips were still left feeling soft and moisturized. Although the shine part will of course go away, the light pink color was left on my lips for about 3 hours, and I am in love with this gorgeous pink. It's very natural looking, and would look great on all skin tones. It is sheer so the color could vary from lip to lip. The only thing I'm not liking about the gloss is the price tag of $21. But if you have dry cracked lips or you're a lip gloss junkie, (like myself) you gotta check this one out.

Buy: You can purchase Anastasia Beverly Hills HydraFull Gloss at Anastasia's website and of course Sephora for $21 each.
