Kroger and CoverGirl Review

I have been a fan of Covergirl for years, it's probably the first makeup brand I ever started wearing. And lately, I've been SO excited about the new stuff they've been putting out. I've especially been loving their gloss sticks and lip balms, which are now my a must have in my collection.

I recently had the opportunity to shop at my local Kroger store for CoverGirl products. I wasn't sure how many things I could really get for $30, it really didn't seem like much when it comes to cosmetic shopping, but when I actually got to the store, I realized Kroger sells CoverGirl cosmetics much cheaper then your average place, such as Walgreens or Ulta. The sign clearly said all makeup always 25% off! Nice huh? I then knew I would have an amazing shopping experience.

Here's a list of the haul I got, all for a grand total of around $29 bucks!

CoverGirl Cheekers Blush Regular Retail = $4.29 Kroger Price = $3.22

CoverGirl LipPerfection lipstick Regular Retail = $7.49 Kroger Price = $5.62

Along with those two I also got these at 25% off the retail price..

LashBlast Volume Mascara

CoverGirl Eye Enhancer 4 piece color kit

TruBlend Minerals Loose Powder Makeup translucent

CoverGirl Clean Eye Makeup Remover

I calculated that if I had went to a regular makeup or grocery store, I would have only been able to get 4 items, vs the 6 I actually bought. So it was like getting items absolutely free. When I saw the cashier ringing up my total, I thought for sure I was over my limit, . But to my surprise $29 and some change rang up. Wow what a steal!

What other store do you know that offers such a percentage off EVERY thing in one specific brand? I can't think of any. I'm so glad I found Kroger in my local Frys, because I will no longer be going to those other stores for drugstore brand cosmetics, especially CoverGirl. And to purchase 6 cosmetics for $30 is unheard of nowadays. Makeup is SO expensive, and if you're a girl, you feel my pain.

And remember, I got these deals with NO coupons. This is strictly their everyday savings. Visit your local Kroger store today to get the cheapest CoverGirl products.

Thank you to Kroger and CoverGirl for sponsoring this review. I am making no claims about the products, just expressing my thoughtful opinion. Clever Girls Collective supports Blog With Integrity.
