Molton Brown Warming Eucalyptus Bath & Shower Therapy & Body Scrub Review

Molton Brown Warming Eucalyptus Bath & Shower Therapy and Body Scrub is my first product I've ever tried from Molton Brown. I was excited, because I've heard so many amazing things about the company, and I've seen their stuff in Barneys. First of all, this scrub comes in a gorgeous package, with a silver top showing their label. It's almost too pretty to use, and I think it would look nice on a countertop or on the bathtub.

The Molton Brown Eucalyptus scrub contains eucalyptus oil which is naturally antiseptic and medicinal helping to stimulate and tone the body while warming tired muscles. Eucalyptus to me smells like Vicks, remember that stuff you would rub on your throat to help get rid of mucus? My mother used to make me wear it all the time, and I would always rub a bit on my nose to clear up my sinuses. This product is PH balanced which protects the skin's natural moisture barrier while gently cleansing to leave the skin refreshed and softened. Plus it exfoliates. Major plus.

Once you open the jar, you are surprised to see the oil and the scrub are separated. You take a small spoon, (or in my case my finger) and mix it around so the two seep together to create a beautiful sea green jelly. The color is so pretty, you have to see it in a person, its a refreshing green, and the smell takes over the entire room when opened.

Reminds me a bit of a margarita, but with the salty exfoliator. It's packed full of eucalyptus oil, ginger root, sea salts and wheat protein. If you are iffy about smells, this might not be for you. The scent is similar to a medicine, with a hint of root ginger. It's a strong smell and if you are more of a fan of unscented scrubs, stay away from this one. This packs a powerful bunch to your nose, but the scent you're left with once the initial smell has left your skin, is fresh and soapy.

I found the smell rather refreshing, and it also clears your sinuses and warms your skin, just like Vicks! It feels like you're being pampered in a luxurious spa, and a little goes a long way with the formula. It will leave your skin feeling smooth, and the fresh scent lingers on your skin for at least 2-3 hours. Something I cannot say about most scrubs or shower gels. The price may seem a bit high ($48 for 10 oz) but this will last you a while, and you're really getting what you pay for with this one. It is one of the most effective, long lasting exfoliators I've seen out.

I love the Warming Eucalytups Bath and Shower Body Scrub. Packaging, smell, long lasting, texture and exfoliating all works well. You can purchase the Scrub for $48 at Molton Brown's website.
