Rebelle by Rihanna Perfume Review + Giveaway

Rihanna has launched her 2nd perfume, Rebelle. I thought the most fascinating part about the perfume is that her facebook fans actually chose the name of the scent.   The name is interesting, especially because the fans chose to spell the word "rebel" wrong, but it's definitely something different.  Rihanna's first perfume Reb'l Fleur, in a similar bottle smells a bit similar to "Rebelle", however I think this fragrance is a bit stronger and more intense.

Classified as a gourmand chypre, this lush sensual scent of 2012 was created by perfumers, Caroline Sabas and Marypierre Julien. The pair also created her first fragrance, Reb'l Fleur that hit stores in 2011 from manufacturer and distributor, Parlux Fragrances.

The bottle is also similar to Rihanna's first perfume; a stiletto shaped bottle with a gold chain wrapped around the top, making the bottle look sexy and elegant, just like Rihanna herself.

Fragrance Notes: Strawberry, ginger, plum, cacao, coffee and musk

Rihanna's Rebelle scent is a bit sweeter and stronger then the first perfume, and I can't decide which one of the two is my favorite. Rebelle has a strong musk ginger note, maybe a bit too strong for me.  I don't smell much of the strawberry, I wish the citrus notes were a bit stronger then the musk.

Price: $49 for a 1.7-oz. spray, $59 for 3.4-oz. spray and $30 for a 6.7-oz. body lotion. For the holidays, the scent will come in a special set that includes the star’s just-released CD, Talk That Talk, plus a bottle of Reb’l Fleur.

Rebelle by Rihanna is available at department stores like Macys and Dillards. Find out more about the perfume at
