I think I might have found my favorite drug store product for hair ever. And it's by L'Oreal! Are you shocked? I think I am. I first read about this spray on another blog. Actually it was a You Tube tutorial which I saw the product do magic on another blogger's hair. It took this girl's hair from limp and flat to va va voom gorgeous in less then a minute. I knew I had to find this stuff.
It's called L'Oreal Paris Boost It High Lift Creation Spray. I found it at my local Walmart, and since it was new it was on display in the middle of the aisle along with a few other L'Oreal Hair Care products. I think there was a new shampoo and conditioner. So if you're wondering what this is, it's ALMOST like a Hairpspray. It is stronger then a hair spray in that you wouldn't use both together because the creation spray is pretty close to glue. The Boost Lift Spray is said to create a 48 hour hold. Really? Who needs a 48 HOUR HOLD on their hair? Are you not going to sleep? C'mon now. Well at least if you're going to party alll weekend long then maybe you should be packin' one of these bottles. I would love to see if this stuff really works 48 hours. Anyone willing to try it out? It also promises a quick dry and a super stiff hold. You have to spray 10-12 inches away from your hair, wow that's pretty far. Any closer and your hair will be stiff as a board. Trust me I know. Make sure you're at least 10 inches away to get the full effect of the product.
I checked out some reviews online and I'm NOT surprised that this has 5 stars on most site. I NEVER see a product get 5 stars. So why is it so amazing? Simple. This is like the next step up from a hairspray. When I say this stuff lasts, it LASTS. How I used it was I flipped my hair upside down and sprayed at the bottom of my roots. I also tend to look for volume in my bangs, so I sprayed some of this on the roots by my bangs for a bit of a poof. But the best way to use this tool is when you want that little "bump" on the back of your head. Remember a couple years ago when women tried soo hard to get that little "poof" in the back of their hair? The High Lift Creation Spray makes it so much easier. You don't even have to tease your hair, just spray a little of this on the roots where you want your hair to look "lifted" and it really does work. I'm not sure if hairspray is needed along with this, I think that might be too much and your hair would turn a little hard. It's not sticky at all and it smells pretty incredible.
L'Oreal didn't pay me to write this, nor did they send me free product. I have never worked with that particular company but L'Oreal if you're listening, PLEASE send me 10 gallons Paris Boost High Lift Creation Spray? I will promote it to my friends for life:) And what is the price? Well at Target and Walmart around $4. Yes I said 4 dollars. And that's for a large full sized almost 6 ounce bottle.
So I have nothing bad to say about this, except that I hope it never goes away. These pictures aren't the "best" I could have shown you, but you get my drift. It gave me a tad bit volume, I should have posted a couple before pictures because my hair is beyond flat and blah when I don't use any type of curl or booster. The High Lift Spray really gave life to my hair.
Here's one more picture, a bit silly but nonetheless it shows my hair with some volume. You can find this product anywhere L'Oreal products are sold. Drugstores, Walmart, Target, pretty much anywhere. If you see it and it's less then $4 I promise you will love it so make sure you pick up 2-3 bottles.
What do you think? I think my son's hair needs a bit of "oomph" too!!
