Gifts For Mother's Day- My Top Picks

Hey beauties! Yes I'm a little late but I wanted to let you guys know about not only my favorite products of April, but what you can get your Mom for Mother's Day. These are my top  must have items for Spring/Summer that both you and your Mom can enjoy. And they are super affordable.

Just recently I have came into now what is one of my favorite brands, Soap and Glory. Especially now that they sell at Sephora, I can go in and sniff around and I haven't found one thing from them that I dislike. Their brand reminds me of a higher end drug store brand not only because it's a tad bit cheaper then the high brand names, but the packaging is so simple yet adorable. I love the pink bottles with the loud words on the front. And each product has a name that is more clever then the next.

Hand Food ($15)- This stuff should be bottled with a huge gold star attached because it is fabulous. I'm not a fan of hand cream. When I think of hand cream I think of older people with dry hands. So that's why I think it's awesome as a gift for anybody especially your gorgeous Mom.  Hand Food contains shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow. It is scented with Soap & Glory's Original Pink fragrance of fresh bergamot, strawberries and mandarin, with floral and fruity mid-notes, and musk, amber and warm vanilla. The smell is fresh, marshmallow and a hint of floral. I  NEED Soap and Glory to come out with "Hand Food the Perfume" instead of a little hand cream so my body can capture the scent instead of just my hands. And the best part is I guarantee your Mother will love it. I really can't see anyone's Mom not loving this. So if you're still unsure what you should get your Mom, don't worry I'm here to help.

Sexy Mother-Pucker Lip Plumping Gloss- ($18) Although your mom might shake her head at the name, OR possibly laugh, the color payoff, along with the plumping part of this gloss is outstanding.  Never before have I had a gloss that smells exactly like a Tootsie Roll Pop, ( I swear it really does) while giving you a beautiful color payoff and a major plumping effect. I love it, although one of my friends that tried it as well said it burned her lips too  much.  Some people like the burning, but I really like it, because it makes me think something is "happening" like a plumping is going on.  And if you don't like Tootsie rolls I wouldn't purchase this either, because it smells of a delicious Tootsie Pop like I said before, which by the way is my favorite candy.   As always I will show you what this looks like on me, I have this in "Punch Bowl" which is a juicy pinkish red.

The Scrub Of Your Life  ($20)- Oh and what a scrub is.  This is a body buffer taken to the extreme. There isn't too much of a smell, the product is a clear gel with little pink flakes in it that exfoliate to the core. If you have dead skin roaming anywhere on your body, this scrub will remove it, leaving your skin soft and smooth. Mothers LOVE exfoliators because older people tend to have that flaky dead skin on their arms, knees, elbows and they usually don't have an exfoliator in their beauty cabinets, so you will be their absolute favorite if you give them this baby!  I love the pink beads that do most of the work, I didn't try this on my face however, it is mostly a body exfoliator. If you're a bit confused on how to use it, you apply it all over your body before you get into the shower, and then while you are in the bath/shower, you scrub it off, and you're left with gorgeous skin.  This is highly recommend, and a bottle will last you at least a couple weeks. I use it every other day and sadly I'm almost out. Thank god there is a Sephora near by to satisfy my Soap and Glory obsession.

Philip B Restorative Detangling Mist  ($24)  is perfect for pretty much anyone that has hair.  I have tangled messy hair, especially when I get out of the shower, and I always require a detangler.  Philip B is a company that I've been experimenting with for a while now. I have fallen completely in love with their shampoo and conditioner. It leaves your scalp and hair feeling soft and luxurious. So I knew the Detangler would be no different.   It's super weight, and feels like nothing heavier then water.  There is really no smell like other hair products that stink of chemicals.  It promises to leave your hair glossy and frizz-free. I struggle with frizz on a daily basis, so I was anxious to see if this would do the job.  I washed my hair and did the unthinkable! (Yes I let my hair air dry) and although it was wavy and gross, there was little to no frizz and it was easy to comb through, easier to blow dry and easier to style.  The bottle will cost you around $24; not bad for what you are getting. And if you are looking for a new shampoo or conditioner, I highly recommend Philip B.  Before that I was using my other favorite, which is Redken, but when I really want to get a good taming Philip B Is awesome. You can find his products on sites like Amazon, DermStore, Nordstroms, and the Philip B Site.

I approve all these products and highly recommend them as amazing Mother's Day Gifts!

Oops I almost forgot my picture with the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss!!! The color= Punch Bowl

I lightened it up with a bit of YSL Nude Lips but I love the bright "Punch" undertones. Till later beauties!! OXOXOXO
