Jane Cosmetics Look In a Box Limited Edition Collections- Decadent Doll

Jane Cosmetics has just released another Limited Edition Collector Box, "Decadent Doll"
The box is complete with a Jane Gracious Lip Gloss, Dust Truffle Shimmer Eye Shadow, Sweet Rosy Posy Eye Shadow, Pink Bouquet Multi-Colored Cheek Power and step-by-step instructions for the perfect makeup application.
Ok um 20 bucks? If you read my blog you know I believe in Jane Cosmetics and I know it's just as good as the high end makeup brands at a fraction of the cost.  One of the major factors on why I believe this to be just as good as high end cosmetic brands is the new formulated eyeshadow that Jane has came out with.  Most shadows that sell for $8 are hard to apply, can be chalky and can take tons of swatches before you can barely see a color. Jane's new Shimmer Shadows are so full of color and intense shimmer the price is almost too good to be true. I was drawn to this specific box because of the bright pink colors and the macaron cookies printed all over the box.
So if you're a fan of shimmer and pink pops of shadow and lip gloss, I highly recommend you buy one, or even a couple of these because they won't be around forever. In the below picture I'm wearing everything from the box including a little bit of MAC Reflects pearl Glitter.
The Decadent Doll Look in a Box retails for $20 and will be available beginning July 15th at Jane is also offering a bounce back coupon and an additional 25% off all products used to create the look. Available here for $20 here.

Smashbox 2015 Summer Collection + Pics

Yes I know I'm a little late in the game, but I just recently got my hands on some of the Smashbox Summer 2015 collection, and I really like what they came out with. Above are the matte lipsticks. Smashbox opted for an original lipstick design with a basic packaging, the colors consist of  Shock Me Pink, Fireball, Femme Fatale, Paris Pink, Mauve, Punch Drunk and they also have two others not shown in the picture which are Magenta and Mulberry.

If you follow me on Instagram you'll know I've been wearing the new Smashbox "Bronze Lights"  ($34) everyday, since the day I received it. I THOUGHT I had found my favorite bronzer of all time, and I had sworn off all others until this beauty.  For $34, this gives you the perfect Summer glow.  If you're not tan yet, don't worry- I have been brushing this not only on my face, but my arms, shoulders and chest.  I don't look orange or fake, I just look like I spent a day or two in the sun. This is my favorite product from Smashbox for probably the entire year. If you purchase nothing else out of the collection, purchase this. I have the color, "Deep Matte"

Smashbox also came out with some blendable cheek and lip colors for Summer. Although I've never been a fan of cheek/lip combos, this appears to be a bit different. Not really recommened for oily skin, this gives you a gorgeous matching summer glow that will make your cheeks and lips pop.  It will be interesting to read the feedback on these, and then I will decide if this is something I need to purchase.
And last but not least, the Photo Angle Pure Pigment Gel Liners ($24)  deeply resemble (in my opinion) The new Benefit Liners that just came out this past month.  You push the bottom of the marker and out comes the color. Easy to use for beginners, I only posted the one color (Plum) which is the color I have, but it also comes in Jet Black, Brown, and a Grey.  I have a love hate relationship with marker liners, I've always been a fan of just a small narrow tip or a brush liner, but this one really goes on well, and stays all day. It also works well with water, I wore this specific shade while swimming and when I got out of the pool, the liner was still on and not blotched at all. I did a quick swatch on  my eye and hand to show you what this looks like.

And this is the end result. I'm wearing The Bronze Lights by Smashbox. It really makes your skin glow and I'm completely obsessed.
YES Smashbox! Love it all! Everything listed here is now available on Smashbox's website.

A Touch of Royalty- Red Sole Shoes

Don't you just love adorning yourself with beautiful things that drowns you in complements from your peers? Well, that's what you get when you wear celebrity shoes and it comes to no surprise to look and feel like a celebrity yourself. However, when you add a dash of red on those high heels, you'll be getting yourself a royal experience.

Why is there a lot of fuss about red soled shoes? What makes them this talk of the town?kind of heels? First of all, let's learn a little bit of trivia about red sole heels. This concept didn't come out just in the last couple decades but a couple centuries ago. As a matter of fact, King Louis XIV wore red soled high heel shoes and even had his portrait taken with his heels on. So the next time you're going to wear your red sole heels, remember that you're wearing shoes straight out of royalty.

Come to think of it, countless celebrities have worn red sole shoes as a symbol of status. For quite some time, women have been enjoying the luxurious offering of these shoes that people would be willing to pay premium price for just a single pair of heels. Are they really worth the money? Well, it's a matter of perspective. But if you ask me, It be willing to stake my money on a nice set of patent leather heels.

As far as style goes, beauty is a no-brainer with such heels. Red isn't my personal preference but when it comes to high heels, red soles are on top of the list. You're be the center of attraction for sure. There's no doubting that you'll feel special and feel like a part of royalty.

Fourth of July with Jane Cosmetics

I hope all of you had a wonderful Fourth of July! Ours was pretty eventful, lots of fireworks, food and swimming. I wanted to mention what makeup I wore when I went to a 4th of July Party, (needless to say it was all Jane Cosmetics)
Check out the Jane Cosmetics Lip Gloss in the Color, "Passion" This is a sheer but light red, perfect for any occasion.  I wore this on the fourth of July and my lips stayed soft and shiny the entire night. (Of course I applied the gloss a few times) but it also works well over any lipstick or liquid lipstick.
Steal the firework show by doubling up your liner! Apply the Jane Water Resistant Eye Liner in Pure White to the bottom lid and inner corner of your eyes to brighten and accentuate. Boom ! I used this for my water line as well as my inner eye.  I noticed when I line my eyes with white, it makes my eyes "pop" a bit more, and it can also be used to enlarge the eye.  When I do makeup I like to use white liner on people with a smaller eye. This is available on Jane's site for
$6.00 (Yes I said it, 6 bucks!)
And last but not least, compliment your patriotic look by defining eyes with Jane’s Water Resistant Liquid Eye Liner in Navy for the perfect color-blocking cat eye. Feeling extra festive? Use the Water Resistant Eye Liner to fill in brows.  Now personally I wouldn't put this color in my brows, but I saw crazier then that on 4th of July.
Yes Fourth of July has passed, but I had a total blast, and I hope you all had fun and stayed safe too.  This is a great look for ANY day of the week, I'm completely obsessed with the Liquid Liner, mostly because the Navy color makes my blue eyes pop. I am certain when I run out I will be purchasing it again; plus the price tag makes it that much more easy to fall in love with.

- Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture Eyeshadow Palette launching July 15th

Earlier today via instagram, Anastasia Beverly Hills released this press photo of a new palette launching July 15th.
Anastasia Beverly Hills has impressed me so much lately with their 2015 Summer Collection, although every time I go to purchase something at my local Macys it's SOLD OUT.  Such a bummer.
Hopefully this one will stay in stock at least long enough for me to swatch the damn thing.  Although excited at first, I noticed I already own a few of these colors and I'm not seeing any color that I HAVE to have, but I will have to see this thing for myself.
Are you interested? I have to see these colors swatched to get a better idea of if I need this in my stash or not....
